On July 18,2026,the first half-year summary meeting of the Poker Card Professional Committee of the China Stationery, Educational and Sports Goods Association was successfully held at the Jindu Hotel in Yiwu. Yi Xiaoli, Chairman of the Association; Lou Qinfeng, Secretary-General of the Special Committee and Chairman of Binwang Poker Cards; Ma Jiamiao, Representative of 3A Group (the lead unit of the Special Committee), together with principals of nearly 30 member enterprises across the industry, gathered at the meeting to review work achievements in the first half of the year, analyze industry trends, and arrange key tasks for the second half.
Chen Zhenyu, Trademark Technical Support, and Wang Zhe, Trademark Consultant from Beijing Gaowo Law Firm, were invited to attend the meeting. Mr. Chen Zhenyu delivered an on-site special compliance training on the newly revised Trademark Law, safeguarding the standardized intellectual property management and long-term brand development of the whole industry.

At the opening of the meeting, Yi Xiaoli, Chairman of the Association, summarized the current development of the industry based on industry research findings. She acknowledged the phased achievements made by enterprises in equipment upgrading and R&D innovation, pointed out that cut-throat price competition constitutes the core bottleneck restricting industrial development, and stressed that only through continuous innovative research and development and abandoning vicious low-price competition can the industry achieve long-term growth.
Secretary-General Lou Qinfeng presided over the meeting and arranged a number of key tasks. He encouraged enterprises to actively take part in the industry exhibition to be held in Shanghai at the end of the year and the Association’s Innovation Contest, so as to expand display channels and enhance brand influence. Meanwhile, he led the organization of enterprise panel discussions to explore breakthrough approaches by focusing on the pain points in industrial development.

With the newly revised Trademark Law set to take formal effect in 2027, trademark compliance, brand protection and infringement prevention and control have become core issues requiring urgent resolution for enterprises in the poker card industry. To help industry players adapt to the new regulations in advance, avoid operational risks and strategically arrange brand assets, Mr. Chen Zhenyu from Gaowo Law Firm delivered a special training session on intellectual property compliance.

Drawing on abundant practical cases, Mr. Chen Zhenyu interpreted the core revisions of the newly revised Trademark Law. The highlights cover key provisions including registrability of dynamic marks, criteria for determining malicious hoarding of trademarks, cross-class protection for unregistered well-known trademarks, reduction of the opposition period from three months to two months, crackdown on opportunistic trademarks, and the upgrade of non-use cancellation (Rule of Three Years) to ex officio revocation by regulatory authorities. He also put forward targeted compliance suggestions for enterprises, helping them adapt to the new regulatory requirements ahead of schedule and consolidate the compliance shield for brands.
Subsequently, during the thematic seminar, representatives of participating enterprises spoke actively and engaged in in-depth exchanges, reaching a consensus on paths for the industry to achieve breakthrough development. Many enterprise representatives shared operational experience and made it clear that they will abandon the low-price competition model, prioritize product quality, pursue in-depth product innovation, and attach importance to production safety.
At the closing stage of the meeting, Ma Jiamiao, Representative of 3A Group and Director of the Special Committee, delivered a concluding speech and put forward six core requirements for the industry’s development in the second half of the year.
The meeting featured a tight agenda and practical arrangements. It consolidated the industry consensus of “rejecting cut-throat competition and pursuing innovation-driven growth”, clarified arrangements for joint exhibition participation, compliant operation and work safety in the second half of the year, and injected strong impetus into the high-quality development of the poker card industry.
