On October 17-20, 2023, the 22nd National Exploration Engineering (geotechnical drilling engineering) academic exchange conference was held in Weihai, Shandong province.
The annual conference is hosted by the Geological Society of China and jointly hosted by the Prospecting Engineering Committee of the Geological Society of China and the Institute of Exploration Technology of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences.Beijing Gaowo Law Firm attended the meeting as a co-organizer and representative of the intellectual property industry. And it also set up a booth at the site to receive guests and escort the modernization of geological drilling with intellectual property rights.
The theme of this year's annual meeting is "Promoting the modernization of geological drilling and supporting a new round of strategic action for prospecting breakthrough".The annual meeting set up the main venue and sub-venue to discuss "green new technology and new methods for exploration drilling , deep core drilling technology and equipment" and other nine topics, providing a platform for mutual exchange and learning for drilling technician in China.
Yuan Feifei, head of the Marketing Department of Gaowo, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on "The Future development Trend of Intellectual Property - High-value Patents". And on the speech, she stressed the significance of IPR in promoting technological innovation in geological drilling and introduced in detail the definition and layout direction of high-value patents, and brought advanced intellectual property protection knowledge to the geological scientists
