Sino-US Intellectual Property Rights Forum was held in Gaowo successfully

On October 28th, 2019, Gaowo hosted Sino-US Intellectual Property Rights Forum and the Seminar on American IP litigation countermeasures successfully and discussed measures against the “337”investigation litigation together with Chinese and foreign experts and scholars. Director Dong of Gaowo attended the forum. And the dean of intellectual property school of Xihua University, professor of China University of Political Science and Law and doctoral advisor Zhang Chu were the initiator and host, and many experts and scholars at home and abroad, representatives of enterprises, universities and law firms attended the forum.

Details of the forum:As the host, Mr.Zhang first introduced the background of this Sino-US Intellectual Property Rights Forum and the main topic of this forum, Seminar on American IP litigation countermeasures. Today, with the development of globalization, more and more Chinese enterprises enter the American market, and the problem of intellectual property becomes more and more serious. Against this background, many Chinese enterprises are confronted with 337 investigations or other intellectual property litigation disputes. How to deal with relevant lawsuits has become a problem that enterprises need to think about when exploring the American market.

 

The American attorney Joshua B. Pond has rich experience in this field. Joshua has filed patent litigations many times in United States International Trade Commission, USPTO and all over the America. And he also advised start-ups and companies on IP portfolio strategies to support them in addressing related challenges.

The American attorney Grace L. Pan also delivered a speech on American IP litigation.  As a representative attorney, Grace helped handle IP problems for enterprises in America, Japan,Taiwan of China and the Chinese mainland many times and attended trials in USPTO, ITC and many other regional courts.
