Gaowo was invited to attend the 10th China Intellectual Property annual conference which was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China on September 2nd and 3rd, 2019. And Shen Changyu, Director of the National Intellectual Property Administration(CNIPA), Zhou Jiangyong, member of the standing committee of Zhejiang provincial party committee and secretary of Hangzhou municipal party committee, and vice governor Zhu Congjiu attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. And the abilities of Intellectual Property to create quality and use the benefits and its international influence have all been on the rise, which opened a new era of building a strong Intellectual Property country. This annual conference, with the theme of “Intellectual Property keeps pace with the Times”, reflects a broader historical perspective. Facing the new era, China's Intellectual Property industry will unswervingly follow the path of development with Chinese characteristics, and give full play to its multiple roles as the "inelastic demand"for innovation-driven development, the "standard configuration" of international trade and the cornerstone of the socialist market economy from both domestic and international perspectives, giving strong support to innovation-driven development and a high level of opening-up.
It is reported that this annual conference is the first time upgraded from China patent annual meeting to China intellectual property annual conference, covering a variety of intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks and geographical indications, as well as operation, service, rights protection, legislation, judicial and other aspects. And the representatives from international or regional organizations developed in-depth discussion on artificial intelligence and Intellectual Property and other related topics and provided new ideas and measures for the development of Intellectual Property in the new era.
